IN LOVING MEMORY OF OUR BELOVED CAROL GEORGE (9/26/26)

In honor of Mrs. Carol George, a.k.a. "Red" 🌹❤️ 

At the request of the George family, in lieu of flowers and to honor Carol’s memory, KIDS CARE is honored to accept memorial donations in her name.

Carol was Amie’s second mom growing up, helping to raise and love her throughout her childhood. She was kind, loving, generous and caring, with a beautiful smile and laugh that brought joy to those around her. We will forever be grateful for her lifetime of love and the impact she made on Amie.

Carol’s daughter, Kellie, was Amie’s very first best friend, and their friendship has now spanned five decades. The love and friendship shared between these two families has lasted a lifetime, and the George family will always hold a special place in the heart of KIDS CARE.

Carol was also a longtime art teacher who loved children, creativity and the arts. In honor of this special part of her life, donations made in Carol’s memory will be used to create Acts of Kindness that engage youth in the arts while giving back to vulnerable populations.

These may include projects such as creating sidewalk chalk art and encouraging messages for 911 dispatchers, painting canvas bags and filling them with gifts for first responders, making handmade Kindness Cards, and other creative service projects that allow children to use art to bring kindness and joy to others.

Through these Acts of Kindness, we hope to carry forward Carol’s love, creativity, generosity and caring spirit while inspiring children to share those same qualities with others.
