Humans have Big Kind Hearts. We do Love one another. We support each other. We encourage each other. We are Compassionate, Empathetic, Sympathetic, Caring, Loving, Giving, Thoughtful and Full of Light.
Just Thanks! Thanks for all you do and sacrifice for our community. We care! 40 Cards delivered locally.
These Kindness Cards were placed into our new school backpacks that were full of new school supplies for students in need. Hoping they received new supplies and a heart smile.
One way to volunteer from home, school or with a group, is to create KINDNESS CARDS and/or Letters of Support & Encouragement for our local First Responders, Hospital Staff & Senior Community, Veterans and more.
All ages are encouraged to donate HOMEMADE CARDS, LETTERS, POSTERS and/or COLORING'S to show that you care. Simply choose whom (listed below) you feel motivated to say "Thank You" to or "Thinking of You" "You Got This" "I Believe in You"...etc. Let the fun begin by creating handmade cards with paper, stamps, stickers, glitter and whatever your imagination can think of.
Cards should be show gratitude for service or share general Love & Compassion in a "just thinking of you" kind of way. KIDS CARE will separate the collected cards and deliver them on your behalf, to the appropriate recipients within Cobb County or to active military serving.
Questions/comments/volunteers can email: volunteer@kids-care2018.org.

On 4/5 we delivered 115 Kindness Cards to first responders who responded to the school shooting at Covenant School in Nashville TN. The card collection was led by @KIDSCARE2018 with the support of the National Youth Leadership Council and Laurel Springs School. The handmade cards were created by the heartfelt attendants at the National Service Learning Conference which we attended in Nashville, a short 20 minutes from the Covenant School. Gratitude, Sympathy, Support, Kindness and BIG Love was transferred from our hearts to theirs via handwritten words, pictures and angelic metal charms placed in the cards.
